Like Britain Brazil has time changes for summertime, this means that most of the year Brazil is 3 hours behind the U.K. for but for short periods it can be 2 or 4 hours behind, even a 4 hour difference should not cause jet-lag.
Even during their summertime there is regular rain in very short bursts, the daily timing of which is fairly predictable and avoidable. However, this means that Brazil is a vividly colourful country with exotic flowers, fruit and birds, you will see butterflies as large as sparrows especially near the waterfalls.
Brazil is probably the most integrated country in the world, its population contains people from every conceivable culture, creed, religion and ethnic background and they live in complete harmony, racism does nor need to be outlawed because it just does not exist. These multi-national groups tend to centralise in the bigger cities which we will pass through but once we are in Abadiania you find yourself amongst the ordinary welcoming people who have lived there all their lives, they are not rich like their city cousins but they exude happiness and love.The photo above is taken from the look-out platform/lecture area at The Casa and shows the remoteness of Abadiania, which has a tranquillity all of it’s own, the scene looks down onto a winding dusty gravel road which takes you to the magical Waterfalls that belong to the Casa.

Inspirational Brazil

Brazil really is a truly inspirational country, ask any traveller who has been there on holiday to Rio de Janeiro or any of the other tourist spots along the coast,But, there is crime in Brazil and it would be gross stupidity not to take normal precautions with your money, particularly in busy street markets or when bathing in a pool, or sea or beneath the wonderful waterfalls. The official rainy season is during January and February each year, but even this brings it’s own delights because you witness amazingly colourful electrical storms.
